Inspired by the Documentary Tapestries of Hope.

  1. Dee says:

OK, this is my new fave. hands down.

  2. Thanks Dee! Glad you like it, a woman wanted to buy it, but she couldn’t afford the cost of the shipping and handling. It’s 36″x”48 Have you heard of Tapestries of Hope? Michealene Cristini Risley filmed it. iI’s based on Betty Makoni and her the Girl Child Network in Zimbabwe. Betty recuses girls that have been or will be raped because men with aids were told by their shaman that raping virgins would cure them of aids. At the GCN center they would dance, sing and clap their hands just because they got a pair of underwear. It inspired me to create this piece.
